Research Your Audience and Theme Properly
You must always be aware what kind of music you are supposed to play at any particular event. You cannot carry a bang-bang techno stuff on a night full of blissful old people gathering together to share the stories of their lifetimes.
Study Your Crowd
Well, your audience’s mood may just change a little anytime. So are you prepared for the change? Also, you must continuously keep your senses alert to notice the feedback you are getting from your performance. Keep adjusting until you can see most of them smiling. Hey, forget about those few grim faces, you can’t make everyone happy.
